Moving the studio

Right now I'm in the middle of moving my studio out of my apartment. So I'm becoming nostalgic.

Melissa Loop: Minneapolis, MN; I am a painter living in Minneapolis but I travel to places that are "exotic" compared to the midwest as a sort of social anthropologist. I gather material on other cultures to make fictionalized landscape paintings in my studio back home that are based on a laborious about of factual research.
