new paintings

I finally got my husband to make professional pictures of my new work.  Here are three that I have not posted yet.  All of my new work will be on display at Common Roots for the month of March.

I have lusted for this book for a long time.  I love Ackerman's mix of the macro and mirco an his paintings.  Plus the color is so garish and amazing.

a new toy

I just got an app for my iphone that makes photos like those old crappy cameras that I love so much.  I'm completely in love!!!

Done...maybe

I've been working on this painting for a couple of months now.  It has been more of a careful struggle because I wanted it to exist between the pursuit of perfection and imperfection.  It is an illustration of the fallacy inherent in places like Dubai and Las Vegas and also the lust they create for us.
